+PROJECT ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT

Galaxsea provides project engineering and management services to our Clients for through all phases of subsea and offshore developments.

We strongly support the principles of Front End Loading (FEL) for projects, and as such can support the early phase work, such as prospect identification, PUD applications, feasibility studies, concept selection and FEED.

With extensive execution phase experience, Galaxsea can continue to support or partner the Client through the engineering phase, construction, installation, commissioning and into operations.

+SUBSEA VALUE ENGINEERING™

What?
SVE™ is a highly structured process of optimisation which targets all key project drivers, such as technical, cost, schedule, risk, HSE etc in order to systematically enhance the project “value”. Value can be thought of as the ratio of what you need vs. the cost of what you are getting.

Why?
Solutions or concepts often evolve from input from various sources all with a unique set of interests, motivators and value drivers, over an extended period. This results in non-optimal solutions, which are paid for by increased cost, schedule, risk, complexity and ultimately decreased safety. SVE™ provides an opportunity to re-examine the solution in a controlled and objective manner.

How?
A comprehensive suite of in-house developed processes and tools are used to organise and focus the application of common sense and technical expertise to the solution proposal, in a transparent and accountable manner. This allows highly targeted optimisations to be identified and implemented, leading to increased project value.

Galaxsea has extensive experience in Technical Safety and HSE gained in the oil major, main contractor and verification authority environments. We can provide both specific technical services along with more general HSE strategy advice and guidance.
